ABOUT US
We are a coalition of individuals and organizations who are looking to continue the tribute to the tribes of Wisconsin through the production of a documentary that tells the story about how museum staff created the exhibit working WITH the tribes, rather than just telling the story ABOUT the tribes. Integral to the narrative will be interviews of indigenous people who worked on the exhibit, modeled for the grand entry scene, edited the exhibit script, and appeared in the videos. We plan to talk about resilience, treaties, sovereignty, who gets to tell the story, and how cultural exhibits should be made.
